Phosphorescent table top

Time can only be apprehended through change — this is how we experience and remember life episodes.

In this project, a table top is covered with a coat of phosphorescent paint which “charges up” when exposed to light, causing it to glow. In places where objects occlude the table from light, “shadows” will be seen in the dark. The footprints of objects become a personal diary of interactions with the world, an external memory.
